Last week I was supposed to have my ISM Showcase, but unfortunately due to personal matters I was not able to attend or showup. I was honestly disappointed that I could not share my research and what I learned about my topic. However, Mr. Green gave me the opportunity to present to everyone in class like how I would have on Showcase Night. I have yet to present but I did prepare and am mentally prepped in case I have to spontaneously go. This week I will be working on my final product. Thankfully, I have known for a while what I want to do so I feel like it should not be incredibly difficult for me to make it.
My final product is going to be a clay model of an appendectomy surgery and with my research assesments I have a pretty good understanding of what I need to include in my model. I am still debating if I should make it a step-by-step model or just a model that shows the removal/cutting of the appendectomy. I will ask my peers, especially the ones whose topic is something medical so that I have some sort of feedback and understanding of what I want to do.
