Into The Thick Of It

This blog may seem similar in context ot the one I wrote last week and that is because I have been working on the same things: continuing to complete research assessments for my final product while also reaching out to medical professionals in my field on general pediatric surgery. To be frank, I have been focusing less on finding a mentor and more on trying to complete my final product to the best of my ability. I know that the class relies heavily on finding a mentor, but it has been more difficult than I expected to find a mentor that I actually like and connect with. Thus, I figure it would be better to develop and create my final product so that it is the best it can possibly be because this is one of the last and crucial parts of the class.
However, I will still continue emailing and setting up interviews, I just will not stress too much on it. This week I will obviously continue finding the best research articles that talk about laparoscopic appendectomy surgery performed on children. I will also buy the air dry clay in order to make my final product so that I will be able to begin making early prototypes.
